Behind the daily operations of JR Pro Care Centre (JRPC) is a dedicated team committed to creating a supportive and comfortable environment for residents. Leading the centre is Puan Aziah Binti Abdul, the Centre Manager, who works closely with caregivers, residents and families to ensure the centre runs smoothly each day.
Puan Aziah joined Johnson Residence in November 2023, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her background spans several departments including human resources, administration, logistics and sales, giving her a well-rounded understanding of healthcare operations.
Before entering elderly care, much of her work focused on supporting healthcare systems and equipment. Moving into the care centre environment allowed her to connect more directly with people and better understand the needs of seniors.
As Centre Manager, she oversees daily coordination at the centre – from supporting caregivers and responding to family enquiries to liaising with suppliers and organising activities for residents. She believes listening to staff and maintaining open communication helps create a stronger and more supportive team.
Building trust with families is also an important part of her role. By staying approachable and transparent, she works closely with both families and the care team through regular celebrations and activities which help bring residents, families and caregivers together.
For Puan Aziah, quality elderly care means creating a safe, well-maintained and welcoming environment where residents can feel comfortable, respected and cared for every day.
