Johnson Residence Care Centres welcomes our latest partnership in the healthcare network with one of Penang’s longest established and trusted healthcare providers, Penang Adventist Hospital. Penang Adventist Hospital is part of an International Adventist Network of approximately 600 not-for-profit hospitals, clinics and dispensaries in the world. The hospital has grown continuously since their establishment in Penang in 1924, with a capacity of 253 beds today, providing quality and professional medical services to local and international patients.
As part of Adventist’s drive to provide end-to-end care while maintaining cost efficacy to their patients, they have appointed Johnson Residence Care Centres as their transitional, step-down and recovery care partner following a careful and stringent evaluation process.
Johnson Residence manages two elderly residential care and nursing homes in Penang, Turf View Care Centre (60 bedded capacity) and Codrington Avenue Care Centre (33 bedded capacity). The centres are supported by a professional nursing team and third-party partners such as Home Medicare for professional doctors home visits, and Well Healthcare Group that provide in-house physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy. By partnering with Johnson Residence, Penang Adventist Hospital aims to ensure post-hospitalisation care quality is maintained.
